U-Pick, or we pick…

BlueByYou is a family-run, family-friendly berry patch located at 1130 Centre Street in Fenwick, Ont.

We open for picking once the crop is ready – usually the second week of July.

We’re now open for picking/orders in 2025.

BlueByYou berries are all natural, with no herbicides or pesticides.

Please pull off Centre Street into the yard via our farm drive (not the home driveway- look for the sign). Park on the grass near the fence/blue barn.

The property is rustic. Grass between rows is mowed, but bees and bugs abound. Close-toed shoes are recommended, as are hats and sunscreen, or bug spray – dress for conditions! Also bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.

We provide pint baskets for picking. You are welcome to bring a container to transfer your berries into for transport.

We have full-time jobs and kids’ activities – our hours reflect this. However, we are friendly and flexible, so if the times we have posted on our Contacts/Hours page don’t work for you, please reach out and we’ll try to find something that fits.

Our posted hours are a guide, not a guarantee – wet or stormy weather or crop readiness/quantity may keep us closed even if our hours would otherwise have us open, especially later in the month.

We will post on our main page and on a sign at the farm drive if/when our hours change. It never hurts to check in advance to avoid disappointment (email is good too).

Berries are available by the pint – we can do the picking for you, or you can pick your own (PYO/U-pick).

Berries are $5/pint, pre-picked or Pick-your-own. CASH ONLY, please.

U-Pick:

  1. Find us at the picking table at at the top of the hill. If you don’t see us, be patient – we’re probably in the patch. (honk or shout if a few minutes pass)
  2. Tell us how many pints you plan to pick and we’ll give you empty pint baskets and a tray to carry them in.
  3. We’ll walk you over to a row in which to pick – please do not cross over between rows or move to another section.
  4. Pick as you please! Take care to select the bluest of the berries, leaving pink/purple or white/green berries still on the bush to ripen for future picking.
  5. Please do not over-fill your baskets – the berries will spill in transit.
  6. When baskets are full, bring your harvest to the table and pay. If you brought your own containers, you are welcome to transfer berries from the pint baskets and leave the baskets/trays on the table for reuse. Thank you!

Go to the Contact / Hours page for a map, our location and hours of operation.

Berry picking is a great way to spend time with the kids.

Children are welcome to pick alongside their adults. No pets, please. There are no washrooms in proximity to the patch.

The patch is a peaceful place – no cellphone use please (photos OK)

We pick:

During our open hours, we will have a quantity of pre-picked pints available for quick pick-up, either at the roadside or at a table up near the patch. Alternate times for pick-up may be considered.

If you want more than a few pints, please submit an order via the form on our Contact page and specify the day/time desired for pick-up.
